For the second year in a row participants of an international project “History begins in the family” are taking part in the unique historical quest.
The history of Lviv during World War II can be discovered interactively. Experts have developed a unique quest and youth from Germany, Poland and Ukraine have had a chance to run it. The competition, both academic and athletic in nature, took place for the second year in a row (April 2016, July 2017) as part of an international project “History begins in the family”.

On 7th July 2017 participants met with Mr. Stepan Horechyi, who was an OUN activis in times of the WW2. After the end of the war he was imprisoned to the Soviet GULAG, he took part in the Norilsk uprising in 1953.

She was born on July 17th, 1929, in the city of Lviv. She received her primary education at ‘Ridna Shkola’ named after Leo I of Galicia.
